I came across this pattern for a collared shawl while poking around on Ravelry. The pattern is available for free on the Free Vintage Knitting site. I think this shawl is a real classy number. Link.

I love that this is a shawl with a sweater like collar. Beautiful!

I just finished knitting the adagio shawl. It is very aptly named! It took me about 4 weeks and my arms are now quite fit after holding that huge length of knitting (pattern says 66″ long but I finished at 62″ as it was long enough to fit me beautifully). With the collar attached it looks absolutely stunning. I am very happy with the garment but I would NEVER knit it again as it was a labour of love! Oh, well, onward and upward!
