  1. Nice. Also, have a look at the work of Japanese artist Shigeo Fukuda [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shigeo_Fukuda]. One of his most famous works in “3D-to-2D projected art” is probably the “Lunch With a Helmet On” which is a sculpture created from forks, knives and spoons that projects a detailed shadow of a motorcycle;

  2. Yes. I also saw it at BAM (Boise Art Museum). It is a piece that one does not forget. I’m pretty sure it is on permanent display.
