A bunch of cool MIDI projects have shown up in our photo pool of late, time to catch up on the goings-on –
Recotana posted this new controller design sporting an ATMEGA16 and transparent case. – USB MIDI controller trial make
D.St-Amand is currently working on this sleek and compact controller design – the board’s looking quite sharp (that matte white PCB is the result of tin-plating) – Channel – Hi definition rendering
The Basement Scientist shared pics of this MIDI-Arduino shield prototype which he’s currently designing a new PCB for – adding buttons, potentiometers and even a photocell. You can read more about it on his site – Arduino MIDI Shield Prototype
Feurig shows off the MIDI capability of his Benito serial to USB converter. Not sure what Arduino did to deserve the haughty comparison, but this makes for quite a compact controller to say the least. – Benito as USB Midi Device
A lot of great stuff going on out there – thanks for sharing all the pics and info. MAKE:15 is loaded with very sweet music projects – if you make any of them, be sure to share evidence in the pool!
