Konservendose built this sweet little square wave synth using a cardboard enclosure and chewing gum wrapper touch contacts –
The LEDs are synched with the beat. the harder you press on the touchpads, the less resistance your fingers have. this way you can control the beat (left side) or make queer noises (right side).

Wow, and here I was thinking we were going to go 24 hours without a “music” entry. I was mistaken and the trend continues.
A good number of readers are musicians (or fancy themselves such, anyway), and music projects are a fun & practical means of exploring our inner maker. Why so bothered by it?

You know they can’t go more than a week without a noise making device or a guitar made from cigar boxes. EVERYONE LOVES that stuff, ESPECIALLY musicians!!
