While it’s true enough that light graffiti has been here, and there, and back again, the work of Australian photographer Denis Smith still manages to amaze. How do you suppose he does it? [via Dude Craft]

  1. A bit too perfect a sphere for hand spinning. I’d say it’s a pole stuck in the ground with 2 battery powered motors. One motor spins a stick like a propeller with LEDs on the ends, and the other motor rotates it around like north then east then south then west.
