Cleverly-shaped mirror opens a door in any wall

Original, simple, beautiful, and easy to remake. From designer Sarah Dayo. She calls it “Glimpse.” Me, I would’ve found it hard to resist “Portable Door.” Reported dimensions are 77×36″. [via NOTCOT]

  1. I’d add a black string hanging from the top point that could attach to the wall by the ground, to add a little bit more to the illusion.

  2. That’s pretty neat but I think a thick plumb line hung from the top right corner to the ground would help the illusion. Try adding a line in a graphics program and you’ll see what I mean. Without that the illusion keeps disappearing for me.
