What a bright spot this labyrinth rug would be on my floor! The pattern is available in the book One Skein, by Leigh Radford. From the book:
When I lived in San Francisco, I liked to walk the labyrinths at Grace Cathedral Episcopal Church. Intended to encourage reflection, the spiral walks – one inside, one outside – guide the traveler along a winding path that symbolizes the simultaneous changes and continuity of life. Knitting this rug is similar to one of those spiritual walks – the frequent changes in yarn and color provide an opportunity to pause and reflect on what you’ve done and to consider your next step – all as you maintain a continuous path.
I’m tempted to get the book and make the rug, because this is the perfect project to use up my remnant yarn.
