Playground Built from Used Windmill Parts

This playground, built in the Netherlands by architecture firm 2012Architecten repurposes used windmill parts to create a playground complete with slides, towers, and tunnels. It’s great to see a project that reuses materials on such a large scale.

  1. Lovely result! Too bad it wouldn’t fly here in the US.
If it wasn’t designed from the start as “Playground Safe”, it’s gone.
Old fighter planes and fire engines, whirlygigs, real swings, all that’s left are fond memories.
