Dress to impress. Stamp on your clothes with bleach to create a totally unique look– not available in stores! While I’ve seen a number of neat bleach on fabric projects around, this one is so simple and clever that I will definitely be trying it out. Warning, bleach is a corrosive chemical, and should only be handled by adults. Be sure to read all warning labels before using.
Materials required include: a rubber stamp, some craft felt, and a container to make a homemade ink pad for the bleach solution.
Grab some t-shirts and tanks from the thrift shop to practice with until you get the technique down. Sometimes it is hard to predict what color will show up once the bleach hits the fabric, so you can test this in an inconspicuous area like the inside of a hem.
This is making me extra excited for spring and warm weather clothing. A great project to work on until that day comes!
