Got some pleather that needs the be aged in a hurry? Dedicated cosplayer Yaexrae (YIKES-rye) did, and when she found that the shoe polish she used to change the tint of her leather shoes was completely ineffective on the pleather belt that she needed to make match them, she had to turn to other means.

Luckily, everything she needed was already around the house, and by simply shading the pleather with sharpie markers and wiping the ink with nail polish remover, she was able to match the leather shoes exactly!
