It’s amazing how much depth the texture of the embroidery floss adds to the surface of these enigmatic illustrations by Ann Khokhlova. Even though it must be extremely time consuming to cover the entire surface of these works with stitches, the final outcome is so overwhelming that it seems totally worth the effort.
