Here is this week’s “How it’s made” – Pat writes “It follows the construction of tufted broadloom carpet through all its steps: tufting, dyeing, backing, finishing, inspection and shipping. it was the development of the manufacturing process called tufting in the 50’s combined with the invention of synthetic fibers that made the carpet industry boom.
