How-To: DIY Project Board

Coordinate your project plans and organize ideas and inspiration with this DIY project board tutorial that Jenn from My Fabuless Life shared on Craftaholics Anonymous!

If youโ€™re like me, the most brilliant of project ideas seem to occur at the most inopportune times, and then by the time I have a chance to actually work on something, all I remember is that I had an idea, but I couldnโ€™t tell you what it was if my life depended on it. My DIY Project Board was born as a solution to my scatter-brain problem. Now I have a place to jot down all of those random ideas, hold all of my drawings of project plans I sketch out while waiting at ballet, or stuck in traffic, and plan color and fabric schemes for my rooms and projects. All youโ€™ll need is a piece of wood, some chalkboard paint, and some stain.

I love that Jenn broke down her project board into different rooms—that’s so much smarter than keeping one long (out of control) list.
