This latch-hooked rug called “Car On Fire” by Lou Joseph was nestled amongst the chrome and rubber yesterday at “an auto-show marathon and ultimate tailgate festival” called Maspeth’s World Of Wheels at The Knockdown Center in Queens, New York. The exhibition was full of amazing works, as well as some very impressive automobiles, so the soft fibers in Joseph’s work was a nice contrast its hard and shiny surroundings.
