Keep your treasured wooden surfaces lemony fresh and gleaming like new with this natural and easy to make 3-ingredient wood polish recipe!
If you’ve got a lemon and some grapeseed or olive oil** in your kitchen, you’re just a few steps away from making your old wooden furniture, banisters, and tables shine. This weekend, show your dull, ill-treated wooden surfaces some love with this simple 3-ingredient DIY wood polish recipe that Michelle Chin shared on Apartment Therapy!
**Note: I don’t personally recommend olive oil for wood polishing purposes, as it will eventually go rancid. I use mineral oil to preserve and polish my own wooden items, and several helpful readers who are avid woodworkers have also written in recommending nut oils, specifically walnut oil. (Thanks for the input!)
