Meet Syuzi Pakhchyan of SparkLab

Syuzi

Syuzi Pakhchyan, pictured here from eTech, is a media designer and tinkerer working and residing in LA. Her studio, SparkLab, lives in the intersection between culture, craft, and technology. Weaving electric circuitry with craft, SparkLab carves out a space for the cultural production of technologically crafted artifacts.

You’ll be able to meet Syuzi at the Maker Faire in our Craft Corner where she will be setting up her “living room” filled with her body of DIY projects ranging from wearables that use light and thermochromatic inks to reveal and conceal imagery, to interactive electronic projects for the home that do not even require the use of a soldering iron. Syuzi will also be holding a Wearable Bracelet Workshop where you can learn the techniques of sewing electronics to create one of her signature pieces. Link.
