Someone made a video demo of a MIDI-controlled microwave oven – so you don’t have to.

The guy who runs Modd3d installed a MIDI port in his microwave. He even made a YouTube video showing that you can use MIDI to cook a corn dog. I’ve seen MIDI control a lot of things before but I believe this is a new use for it.
