Musician Kid Koala has released a limited edition CD and LP set of his new album 12 Bit Blues. Included is a working cardboard turntable that the buyer gets to assemble her/himself. A Flexidisc is provided to give the device something to play, and a cardboard cone amplifies the sound as the user spins the record by hand.
With the music industry going through a very obvious sea change in the last several years, it’s great to see artists getting creative when it comes to their new releases. Kid Koala venturing into the DIY spectrum is particularly refreshing.
