Bleep Labs, creators of the Thingamagoop, are debuting a new version of their Bit Blob electronic noisemaker.

The Bit Blob is a digital noise maker that’s controlled by connecting its contacts together, allowing you to bend your way through unlimited sonic madness. You can also connect LEDs, audio outputs, or other Bit Blobs between control pins!

It’s open source and programmed in AVR C. Only 30 of the original version were sold; not sure if the new version has a limited run. If you can’t afford $225, you can also get the Bit Blob Jr. which has the same electronics as the main product, lacking only the sweet light-up beaker enclosure. It’s available as a kit for $55 or assembled for $80.
