CRAFT: Feast and Frolic

The Handmade Detroit gals are throwing a party instead of a baby shower for our friends Bethany and Dan Nixon next month. Their son’s room has an animal theme, so instead of making invitations with baby booties and umbrellas, we went with an Anna Griffith vintage circus scrapbook paper scheme. Using a box of pre-made blank cards from the craft store, I simply rounded the corners of the cards and the scrapbook paper and secured with double-sided tape. A blue name tag label was used on the front of the envelopes to call attention to it in the mail. Total for the cards for 40 invitations – about $12.
