Making a Light Up Pop Up Father’s Day Card

fathersdaycard-05

Father’s day is only 2 days away! If you’re in a rush, you might want to consider putting together a variation of this fantastic Pop up card. Built by Nick Poole over at sparkfun, this fantastic project combines pop up making as well as simple circuit building. Nick takes you step-by-step through the process so you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself.

Nick is using the battery holder, switch, and LEDs that are part of the litllypad system, allowing for much easier attachment onto the copper tape he’s using. If you don’t have time to aquire those parts though, Dad probably won’t mind a little bit of wire taped into place. The message will be just as clear either way.
