Quilled Paper Art

Craft & Design Paper Crafts

Happy tax day, everyone! I love the quilled paper art of Nava Lubelsky, particularly this stunning piece made up of her 1998 tax file. (Talk about turning trash into treasure!) The pieces almost look like lichen or some kind of bacterial growth, not detritus from our ordinary lives. I’m always so inspired to see art works that transform things that would otherwise be thrown away into beautiful objects and surprising meditations on the everyday. (Via Dude Craft.)
