As a designer, I am endlessly enchanted by letterforms, especially non traditional ones made from surprising sources. Last year I stumbled upon and fell in love with We Make Words, a fabulous photoblog (or phlog, if you like) comprised of Amy and Luci who state:
“We like words. And we like arranging objects. And we like taking photos too.”
The girls take turns responding to each other, using everyday objects to spell out a single word in reply to the previous post, thus creating an associative dialog of familiar phrases paired into heartwarming sequences. Playful, gorgeous, and an addictive delight. Hats off!
