As a machine knitter, I really like listening to Skrillex when I work because it sounds great with the metallic clattering of the machine. Apparently I’m not the only one who likes to mix some dubstep with their yarn, because micro-crocheter Kim Lapsley has created an amazing amigurumi version of Skrillex.

Lapsley put an incredible amount of detail into this doll by using stitching to shape the torso even though it would be covered by a shirt (although she explains that she mostly just did it as practice).

His hair is brushed out acrylic yarn. I crocheted his eyes using sewing thread and a 0.6mm hook. His glasses are made from wire and are wrapped in black yarn. I used glue and black tape to secure the yarn.

Obviously, the best thing about an amigurumi Skrillex is that you can drop it hard as much as you want and it will be just fine!
