Swimming Cities: The blessing of the fleet

Our friends from the Swimming Cities crew will be unveiling their “floating island” — five handmade boats connected in star formation, nearly 50 feet in diameter, for the first time ever on water (they were on land at the World Maker Faire), tomorrow in Brooklyn. They’ll be serving up oysters and champagne along with music, games, and sea shanty karaoke. They’ll be docked at the 2nd Street dock near Bond Street (map), from 2-8pm. Hope to see you there!
