This past Saturday was my last post for Craft on MAKE. After more than three years I’m hanging up my mouse here on Craft and focusing on some projects back here at home in Detroit. It was a hard decision to make as the Craft community is so outstanding.
A few years back (like five, gulp!) I was asked to host one of Craft’s issue release parties in Detroit. I was such a fan of the magazine that I jumped at the chance. Two years later I was asked to join the staff to help cover the launch of Maker Faire in Detroit and my craftiness was never the same.
Thanks to Craft I’ve met some amazing people, both readers and crafters, coming up with fantastic projects. While I won’t be here on Craft sharing ideas, I’ll be busy with Handmade Detroit and the Detroit Urban Craft Fair, as well as my own blog. Hopefully I’ll hear from you all soon!
