The Musical Note Sweater

Yarncraft

I recently came across the blog Handmade by Mother, in which Victoria Dunn posts up (and occasionally mocks) vintage patterns.
In truth, I really just wanted to share this photo. The boy on the right looks like he’s about to break the clarinet over his knee and go postal. I guess this is a reminder not to force your craft on someone. If you want to knit a musical notes sweater, that’s fine. But putting it on an unwilling 9-year-old boy, complete with neck kerchief, lederhosen, knee socks, uncomfortable fancy shoes, and a clarinet, and documenting it for all perpetuity is not very nice.
