DIY Upholstered Checkerboard Card Table

I love upholstery projects, and this upholstered checkerboard table tutorial is no exception. I have to admit that a part of me thinks it’s a little bit insane to piece a vinyl checkerboard (why not just stencil one with paint??) but the rest of me just thinks it’s awesome.
