East Bay Mini Maker Faire, Tomorrow!

If you’re in the San Francisco Bay Area tomorrow, why not check out the East Bay Mini Make Faire? It promises to be a fun and inspiring event. Here are just a few highlights:

The Oakland Museum and the Lawrence Hall of Science will be at the Faire. The Museum will be showing folks how to create their own personal stop-motion logos and the Hall of Science will be delving into circuit basics and building scribblebots.

Survival Research Labs member Kevin Binkert will be demonstrating his Flame Tornado. He’ll also be giving a talk on “Helpful Hacks for Home Coffee Roasting.”

Got a broken appliance? Bring it to the Faire and the folks at Fixit Clinic will show you how to repair it.

David Culkins, founder of Robogames, will be there with combots and also teaching a workshop: “How to Make a Combat Robot.”

Lots of great crafting action, with Swap-O-Rama-Rama, no-sew workshops, sewing workshops, screen printing, and more.

Check out the Faire’s website for full list of makers and schedule. Here to buy tickets.
