I once claimed that I would never post a cupcake recipe on CRAFT because I’ve never made cupcakes before and all I really know about them is which end goes in your mouth (and even that can get tricky). But it’s ok for me to post this beautiful Thanksgiving Plate Cakelettes recipe because these are not cupcakes (they just look like them).
These little cups of joy have a base layer of turkey meatloaf that is topped with cornbread apple sausage stuffing. Mashed potatoes are piped like frosting and topped with a dallop of whole cranberry sauce. Turkey gravy is served on the side so guests can drizzle or drench to their hearts’ content.
