Liz Hickok’s Jellied Cities

My dad is a huge fan of Jell-o, and we’d always rolled our eyes a little about it, but clearly he’s not the only one who sees its possibilities. Liz Hickok creates incredible jellied cityscapes, lit from below and true to scale, giving gritty city streets a fantastical, magical twist. While she mostly photographs her work in her studio, she does do temporary installations, like this one at the Exploratorium of Twin Peaks in San Francisco. (Via Edible Geography.)
