Tellart’s giant Frogger remake at RI Mini Maker Faire

Tellart's Giant Frogger

As a follow-up to their MakerPong game at the 2009 RI Mini Maker Faire, Tellart created a WaterFire-themed Frogger clone that could be played on a street or sidewalk for the 2010 Rhode Island Mini Maker Faire:

We decided to stick to the theme of mixed reality projection games, developing a custom WaterFire version of the classic Frogger Game. Players were invited to wear a helmet rigged with infrared LED’s which let them control a virtual frog trying to cross the treacherous WaterFire-themed street.

In the spirit of this Make Magazine-affiliated event, we are sharing our software that ran the game, along with some instructions here. We will also be posting a video of the event soon.
