The Transdimensional helmet

Helmet
Andrew Leman (who also made the amazing ElectriClerk) made this game playing accessory helmet from army surplus, old specs, leather and headphones… – “This leather aviation helmet was wired with a pair of concealed headphones which connected to a portable cassette player. When the helmet is securely fastened and the blinders of the goggles are down, the wearer cannot see anything and can only hear what is coming through the headphones.

In the game, players chose from among 12 unmarked cassette tapes, then put on the helmet. Each tape had a different pre-recorded “transdimensional” scenario, which the wearer then experienced through the helmet.” [via] – Link.
