I’ve been growing and propagating my own succulents for over a year now and find the hardest part about keeping them happy is making sure they get enough sunlight. If you don’t have any sunny windowsills to keep your succulent collection, or you’ve outgrown the window space, like me, then why not try hanging them on a wall that gets a lot of daylight?
Because succulents are in the cacti family, it means they don’t need a lot of water to thrive. This is good news, since you don’t really need to worry about having sopping wet walls. It would be a good idea to use a water tight fabric in this project any ways. When it is time to water the plants, you can remove them from the wall and water over a sink or a bowl, just in case there is any leakage.
This is a such a clever spin on the hanging planter idea, and makes great use of scraps of material you may already have on hand. It also makes a unique gift!
