Maker Faire Detroit is just around the corner, and it’s starting to get exciting around here. One of the events that I am particularly looking forward to is the Power Racing Series. This contest challenges hackerspaces to modify old PowerWheels cars into hotrods, then race them for a prize. Here are some of the entries:

Tom’s Pink Trike, from Milwaukee Makerspace,

The PS:One GP team from Pumping Station: One,

1812: Canadian Bacon by Megacycle Labs in Canada,

And a nice attempt by Team Power Fist of thinkhaus
