Since we promised you another piece by the Flaming Lotus Girls, here it is. Meet Xylophage, a colossal art installation that honors destruction and rebirth by telling the story of a mushroom.

First, spectators are greeted by a flaming 20-foot-tall, 20-foot-wide tree trunk. As spectators follow the trail of fire, they’ll notice that the same fire that begins with a tree travels across two mushrooms to finally stop at a beautiful, vibrant LED mushroom. Sometimes fires don’t just mean destruction… according to those Lotus Girls. See their site following this link.
