Blogs We Love: A Ervilha cor de Rosa

This week, my Craft blogger buddies and I are sharing our favorite blogs with you. In order to write every day for the Craft blog, I have to read an awful lot of web sites. One of my favorites, A Ervilha cor de Rosa requires little reading because it is written in Portuguese. A Ervilha cor de Rosa is the blog of renowned Portuguese dollmaker Rosa Pomar.

On Rosa’s blog, you can find a lot of pictures of her beautiful dolls. All of the dolls are handmade out of wool, linen, cashmere, silk, and cotton. She accents the dolls with trimmings of lace and ribbon. Even though the style of the dolls is consistent, each doll is really quite unique.

Besides the dolls, my favorite posts are when Rosa takes pictures of different things she sees around her. For a few days in December, she posted photos of Portuguese tile. I really like her style of posting photos like a catalog of images. Even though the blog has translate links at the bottom of every entry, I enjoy just looking at these pictures the most. – Link.
