Maker Media CEO Dale Daugherty is one of the speakers at the three-day European conference OuiShare, which explores the collaborative economy of openness and sharing.
OuiShare, a global community focused on promoting the collaborative economy, today announced OuiShare Fest, the first European event on the collaborative economy, which will take place in Paris from May 2-4, 2013. Co-organized by public digital agency La Fonderie, the three-day festival will bring together a global community of entrepreneurs, designers, makers, economists, investors, politicians and citizens to build the future of the collaborative economy. Its partners include Shareable, Meshlabs, CollaborativeConsumption.com, P2P Foundation and Deskmag.
Days one and two of OuiShare Fest will gather 500 professionals and public officials, while day three will be free and open to the public. It will feature presentations, live crowdfunding sessions, makers’ labs, how-to workshops and activities about sharing lifestyles. Official and satellite activities all across Paris will attract thousands of visitors over the course of the day.
