Regarding our previous Multi-Outlet extension cords post, CNCProgrammer writes – “I’ve been making my own multi-outlet extension cords for several years now for my Christmas lights, and I haven’t burned down the house yet (knock on wood). You can find a couple of pictures of one I made last year at the address below. The cord you see there is a 25 foot long cord from Home Depot and cost me about $5. The outlet cost me less than $2. I often cut a cord to length and put on my own outlet which cost even less.” [via] – Link.
