I think it goes without saying I have a tiny place in my heart for Lisa Frank – remember the wine charms I made? Well, when my friend sent me this Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre clip yesterday, it made my day and then some. A “mockumentary,” if you will, this trailer tells the story of a young Lisa Frank trying to make her way in the art world. Failed Trapper Keeper deal? It’s in here. Criticism of purple whales? Yep, here, too. The quotes from this are too good. You’ll have to comment and tell me your favorite. Right now mine is, “Before I met you, I didn’t know penguins could hug.” And with that, I ask any reader who’s ever made a Lisa Frank sticker collage to go forth and watch after the jump – and think fondly for teddy bears in top hats.
