Make your own iPod privacy filters?

I’ve seen the 3M privacy filters for laptops, they’re screens that you can put over your laptop screen so the person next to you can’t see what you’re working on – with all the portable video players like iPod video, those filters will soon be hitting the small screen soon, here’s a product that will likely be released soon – Link.

On Froogle you can pick up the 3M filters for $20 or so, and on eBay for less…I’m guessing you could just chop the LCD screen ones up and use them for your iPod video devices now. I’m planes a lot lately, and I think I might see if I can make my own, I watch a lot of weird videos and sometimes get some odd looks from fellow passengers. Of course, there are also LCD goggles (for even more odd looks).
