Maker Faire Rome is Europe’s largest Maker Faire and an amazing showcase that proves that Makers are universal. Day one was education day with hundreds of Roman school children bused to the Faire to learn and experience the potential of making.

No-Made boards show that not only can you make more environmentally friendly surf boards but they can also be beautiful.

Putting the Rock and the Robot in Rock’em Sock’em Robots, artist Kolja Kugler brought his robotic band from Berlin to entertain the crowds in Rome.

I loved (as did these two younger attendees) these cardboard statues from Sergio Gotti that feature hidden details in every turn.

The Pixel Mosaics Kit allows you to turn yourself into a work of art. A low resolution black and white photo of you is first made and giving you a template to fill in with the tile cubes provided in this kit.
