MakerBot Replicators are in the Maker Shed

Ever since the MakerBot Replicator was released there have been significant delays getting your hands on one. First it was months, then weeks, and now we have the dual extrusion model physically in the Maker Shed and ready to ship immediately.

For the uninitiated, the MakerBot Replicator is an additive CNC machine (aka 3D Printer). It’s capable of printing objects up to 8.9 x 5.7 x 5.9 inches using ABS or PLA plastic. The Replicator is one of the first hobbyist machines to offer dual extrusion, allowing you to print in two colors (or create water soluble support materials.)  It’s also one of the first machines to arrive at your doorstep assembled, calibrated and ready to print with minimal effort. It even includes 2 kilograms of ABS plastic so you can start printing immediately. The Replicator is 100% made in the USA and is backed by MakerBot support should any problems arise. So, if you’ve had your eye on one of these amazing machines, now’s your chance!

I am the Evangelist for the Maker Shed. It seems that there is no limit to my making interests. I'm a tinkerer at heart and have a passion for solving problems and figuring out how things work. When not working for Make I can be found falling off my unicycle, running in adverse weather conditions, skiing down the nearest hill, restoring vintage motorcycles, or working on my car.
