Engineering.com recently released this great guide on reading capacitor markings. I’ve been doing random electronics projects for years and never really looked beyond the simple number on the side of the capacitor.
In the few cases where I’ve had to replace ceramic disk capacitors, the little brown pill looking ones, I’ve had to rely on schematics and Google! This guide has really cleared some things up for me, so I hope it helps you too.
