Micah Dowty has been doing some really impressive work with the propeller microcontroller. First he managed to create a USB interface for it by bit-banging some I/O pins. Now, he has expanded on that project by implementing enough of the Bluetooth stack on it to be able to connect to a surplus Bluetooth USB stick, giving him an embedded device Bluetooth for $2. It’s quite an impressive feat to pull off on a tiny microcontroller!
