It appears the journey of the Maker’s Quilt has just begun with this single step – Dgiancaspro has created the first piece for his ongoing collaborative project –
The traditional quilt is made of many embroidered squares contributed by different family members.
Some squares commemorate special events in the families history like a marriage, the birth of a child or an acquittal(OK That’s probably just my family)The Makers Quilt like a traditional quilt will be made of electronic or mechanical squares contributed by makers.
Hmmm … could be a good use for all that good stuff going ’round in TGIMBOEJ. Should be interesting to see how this tale unfolds
