Pursuing Ping Pong Balls at the Raspberry Pi Jamboree

This post coming to you live from the Raspberry Pi Jamboree in Manchester, England which is being held as part of the Education Innovation Conference & Exhibition at the Manchester Central Conference Centre this week.

Will Jessop is a systems administrator for 37signals, and runs the North West Ruby User Group in Manchester. He also builds robots. I ran into him at the Raspberry Jamboree here in Manchester and we talked about his ping pong ball collecting robot. Apparently he’s hoping to make picking up the balls enough fun that he can crowdsource cleaning up after tournaments in his office. A worthy goal! What could possibly go wrong..?

Will has detailed write up of how he went about building the robot on his blog.
