This robot from NTT Communications in Japan uses RFID tags embedded in the floor to figure out where it is, information about the stores and will carry your bags around for you. I suppose if you buy something that also has a RFID tag in it, the robot could suggest something to go with it and then lead you to the next store. If I were Amazon, I would make a bot that would roam around and convinced people to go home and order stuff online, or perhaps a Froogle bot from Google that you’d take with you to see if the in-store bot was helping you find the best deal or not.
