Inventors come up with some unusual creations to help better their worlds and Su Daocheng of Chinaโs Hubei Province is certainly one of them. The inventor designed the robotic horse to replace the real thing for plowing fields, which was inspired by military strategist Zhuge Liangโs โwooden ox and gliding horseโ transportation device.
Suโs robot was built around a Go Kart motor that propels spring-loaded limbs in order to move. It also features a couple of bracing wheels to support the front end with its metal head.
The inventors horse stands at almost 5-feet tall, is over 6-feet long and is roughly 550Lbs, thanks to its metal frame. Looking at the video, it becomes apparent that the steering wheel doesnโt seem to function to well and in a few instances, it looks as if bystanders are helping to keep the horse from changing its direction.
Still, Doc Brown would be proud and his inventions are certainly in the โuniqueโ category.
