The Make: staff celebrated the release of our latest issue, Make: Volume 43 last night at our Wearable Electronics Meetup. Located in the Maker Media Lab which is housed in the Palace of Fine Arts San Francisco, we frolicked amongst tables full of tech. 3D printers hummed while people compared and shared their various wearable gear. From resplendently aesthetic things like Tanaya and her blipkit adorned dress to immersive virtual reality environments.

We got to see some cool prototypes and thank some of our contributors in person. Not only that, but plenty of LEDs and batteries got taped together for some fun accoutrements.

If you happen to be in the San Francisco area, keep an eye on our Meetup page and you might be able to come and mingle at one of our gatherings!

What will the next generation of Make: look like? We’re inviting you to shape the future by investing in Make:. By becoming an investor, you help decide what’s next. The future of Make: is in your hands. Learn More.
